Assemblage of is an extension of my practice as a photographer. It’s a living document of curiosities and expressions that may take the form of text, space, object, clothing, etc.
Any idea that chooses me as its vessel is possible.
The name “Assemblage of” comes from my practice of assembling images and text. Collecting and connecting as a form of listening to the Source and the body. Each project is called an “expression", a word I feel better houses the nuance of an idea being pursued, felt, experienced, rather than merely indicating existence.
AO, in its essence, is an artist studio.

Colin Dancel is a Filipino image-maker and photographer. Led by curiosity and a primal desire to create, her works often depict beauty born of persistence and imprints of movement — she’s drawn to work that breathes beyond the confines of a page, challenges the notion of stillness, and addresses a yearning for tactility.
